BEARBLOG 08/02/10 We were at the NEC Spring Fair yesterday where we saw the new Charlie Bears collections. My lips are sealed on pain of death but I am allowed to say how gorgeous the new bears are!! Working at the moment on updating Old Bear Corner with some newly arrived vintage teds but ran out of time so the gallery has some new thumbnails but no page links. If you check back tomorrow afternoon, should all be done by then but if you want any information before then, please just email me at marsha@abracadabra-teddies.com and I will get back to you asap.

BEARBLOG 29/01/10 It's been a long time since we have had some old bears arriving but if you visit Old Bear Corner today you will find we have added a group of charming, mostly well loved and hugged oldies for you including a very rare small size Paddington Bear from the early 1970's.
We have also added our own photos of Rocky, the grizzly bear cub by Steiff to the Steiff Gallery today.

BEARBLOG 22/01/10 As promised, the Orphanage has been updated with lots of new Orphans today.
BEARBLOG 21/01/10 Managed to take photos today of all the newly arrived Orphans so if you check back tomorrow afternoon, you will find the Orphanage site updated. Dany Bear fans - I know you have been patiently waiting for the new order which I thought would be with us before the end of this month, so here is some news. Dany tells me that she is working every day to get the bears finished and should be able to tell me next week when she thinks they will all be completed. If you are on our mailing list, you will be the first to see the new bears. Charlie Bears - spoke to Charlie herself on the 5th and it seemed then as if we would receive all the outstanding Isabelle Collection bears this month but still no firm news. The consolation is that they are worth waiting for.
BEARBLOG 19/01/10 My goodness, these past few days have been particularly hectic with the end of the auction. Malcolm and I have been busily working out postage costs to all over the world for the winners but I think we are finally getting somewhere. I want to thank everyone for their patience and to say that I should have all the emails finished by tomorrow latest. We have some Orphan Bears lining up to be photographed and more on their way. We are also waiting patiently for deliveries of Charlie Bears plush and the Isabelle Collection which should be with us some time this month, fingers crossed!!
BEARBLOG 17/01/10 Our annual auction to raise funds for the Animals Asia Foundation and the Moon Bears will close tonight at 21.00 hours GMT. The amount raised as of this morning is just over GBP6,800, the exact figure is shown above and is updated each time we receive a new bid. This information is for everyone who has participated and is being posted in case any of the emails I sent out last night to everyone get bounced or labelled as spam and go un-noticed. I wish to thank everyone, regardless of whether you will win a lot or not, because everyone will have helped to achieve the final amount. I am posting this because I don't have the resources to email the non-winners at the end of the auction. I hope you understand. If you placed a bid and are not sure if you have won something, please check the lot and if your initials and bid are the final ones, then you will be receiving an email from me early next week to confirm, followed by another email with the final costs and payment options. Please don't email me to ask if you have won as it just means it takes me longer to get in touch with everyone.
