If when you look around you there is not an inch of space left, your family is no longer talking to you or you simply look at a bear and ask yourself - "why?", it might be the time to consider giving up some of your previously but no longer loved ones for adoption.

As we are so often asked about re-homing bears, it was time to sit down and work out one or two options which might help.

Contact us if you have any bears made by established artists that we do not currently have stock of that you would like to re-home. We accept only mint condition items with their original labels intact which have had only one previous owner.  Please do not ask us to find homes for items which have done the rounds of the auction sites.  Once agreed, send them off to us with your contact details and the price you would like to sell them for.  We will take their photos and show them both in the shop and on the website for a period of 90 days.  There are 2 different sales options for you to select:

OPTION 1: You will receive a credit for 87.5%, less credit card fees, of the sale price to be used against any purchase from Abracadabra. Please note that this credit cannot be used to purchase other Orphans, only bears that belong to Abracadabra. 

OPTION 2: Abracadabra will take a set fee of £45 plus the credit card fees for any item with a value up to GBP450 and 10% of the value plus the credit card fees for any item with a value over GBP450 and will then purchase the item from you for the remainder of the price. 

From the fee Abracadabra will pay all VAT and other sales costs such as packing materials and credit card fees. 

If, after 90 days, the bear remains unsold, on receipt of the postal costs, the bear will be returned to you.
